Image consultant Sarah Cook has taken the principle behind Tupperware parties, The Body Shop At Home and Vie at home and launched the UK’s first ever at-home style parties, which bring qualified, professional stylists direct to customers’ doors. Cook is hoping to attract women with a sense of style and desire to work for themselves to become one of the company’s independent personal stylists.
Establishing a career as a personal stylist might sound like an unrealistic dream for many, but Stylus Parties is about helping women to make that dream come true. A member of the International Federation of Image Consultants and Institute for Learning, Cook has developed a bespoke, industry-leading online training programme to give trainees all the knowledge, tools and insight needed to become a successful personal stylist and run Stylus Parties style parties, one-to-one consultations and personal shopping services.

Once qualified, there is no commission or fees to pay – stylists become their own boss but receive all the benefits of being aligned to a professional and established brand name.

Delivered through a simple and user-friendly virtual learning environment (VLE), trainees study at their own pace and in the comfort of their own home via Stylus Parties’ password-protected e-learning site. A tutor is available online during office hours to provide ongoing support, and trainees can use the VLE to connect with other students on the course – a great way to share ideas and make new contacts.
